Evil Dead Trilogy - Exklusive Collector's Tin (3DVDs) AU
The Evil Dead
Shot over the course of several years, “The Evil Dead” is a shining example of low budget filmmaking at its finest. The story centres on five young adults renting an isolated cabin for a weekend of partying. After arriving they discover an old book and an audio tape. They play the tape, only to discover that it was made by the cabin’s prior occupant – a scientist working on a translation of the ‘Necromonicon’ aka ‘The Book Of The Dead’. When the translations are played aloud, they awake an ancient and unspeakable evil that lives in the woods – an evil force intent on possessing the living.
The Evil Dead II - Dead By Dawn
Ash (Bruce Campbell) takes his girlfriend to an isolated cabin for a romantic weekend. After accidentally playing an ancient incantation on a tape recorder, an evil force is awakened, forcing Ash to do battle with the undead. Directed by Sam Raimi (Darkman), this sequel to "The Evil Dead" is a gory, funny, over-the-top continuation of the original film.
Army Of Darkness (Evil Dead III)
The third and final chapter of director Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy, Army Of Darkness immediately follows the events of Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn with our hero, Ash (Bruce Campbell), being sucked into a vortex which transports him to Medieval England. Initially perceived as a spy by the occupants of a royal castle under siege from the dark forces of the Deadites, he soon proves himself to the locals and is hailed as the deliverer of the Necronomicon, an ancient tome with the power to ward off the evil onslaught and the potential to return Ash to his own time.
