1951. Cult horror comic artist, Pennington completes his ultimate work in the cellar of his old, gothic house. It is a comic called Cellar Dweller and its text contains genuine occult spells.
But as day gives way to night and lightning splits the darkness, Pennington tries to destroy his diabolic creation. From the flames of the burning drawings appears the creature of his imagination. Cellar Dweller, half human - half beast, risen from hell to devour his creator.
1987. Students are eagar to live in the boardng-house that once belonged to cult comic artist Pennington and solve the gruesome mystery that surrounds it, but in the cellar lurk old memories and things that go munch in the night...
