The Night of the Sorcerers RC1
Bumbasa, Africa, 1910: A brutal native ceremony that begins with the whipping and defilement of a European woman and ends with her beheading is interrupted by a group of British soldiers who kill the natives. But the ritual was completed -- the victim's head suddenly comes to life and she screams, exposing her new vampire fangs!
Modern Bumbasa: A group of explorers arrive near the same location to study the wildlife in the area. All is tranquil until nighttime comes and distant drumming draws one of the female members of the group to investigate the jungle depths. From there, a nightmare will be awakened of zombie natives and scantily-clad vampire women who prowl the moonlit jungle in search of fresh blood and more sacrificial victims for the orgiastic, supernatural rites of the devil-worshipping tribe.
Amando de Ossorio, the director of the notorious Blind Dead series, strikes again with THE NIGHT OF THE SORCERERS, a wild foray into unabashed exploitation that outdoes anything else in his body of work. With its over-the-top political incorrectness and unrepentant Sadeian elements, THE NIGHT OF THE SORCERERS is a film that could never be made today.
