In that era of uncertainty, Radley Metzger came up with an unconventional non-hardcore version of ** Pamela Mann.** He brought Barbara Bourbon back to New York to film a comedic monologue which was to be superimposed on the genitalia during the hard core scenes. By the time it was ready, much of the controversy regarding obscenity had passed and the non-hardcore version was shelved. But, along with the hardcore version, it has been digitally restored High Definition is available once again.
Included after the softcore feature are several DVD extras: **Metzger's Manhattan** - a 7 minute short highlighting Manhattan in the 1970s; **The Locations of Pamela **- a 7 minute short showing how exterior locations that appear in the film look today; A 2011 DVD Trailer and ** The Cutting Floor** which includes rare footage and outtakes located recently when Distribix acquired the rights to the first four Metzger films.
Lastly, there is a 40 minute interview with legendary Hall of Fame actress **Georgina Spelvin**
